Siteground is a highly reputable host with competent and friendly support, they are very affordable, though don't always perform as well as higher-end managed wordpress hosts. Kinsta offers very fast and reliable hosting for wordpress, exceptional support, and a very user-friendly dashboard with easy staging.
Based on Price, Siteground is the clear winner, but for almost everything else I prefer Kinsta. Even after the introductory pricing period, Siteground's plans work out as significantly cheaper than Kinsta's. However, you should expect performance to be better with Kinsta, and I think the overall experience of using Kinsta is better. Siteground also had a fairly significant service outage at the end of 2021, which they have since resolved, but it did prompt quite a few people I know to move away from the host. Apart from this, I still think Siteground is a good host and have found Siteground's support to be very good. Kinsta's support is also fantastic.
Let's get started!
SiteGround vs Kinsta (2024) – WordPress Hosting Compared
Verdict - At a Glance
Siteground offers some very attractive introductory pricing across all of their plans, and their well priced 'GrowBig' package includes no website limit and quite a lot of features, though you'll need to move to a higher plan if you want to go above 20 GBs of disk space. But keep in mind that their renewal pricing is quite a lot more expensive than their introductory plans. If you have a very large amount of visitors on your site, then even their highest managed wordpress hosting plan might not be suitable to your needs, as it's suitable for up to 400,000 visitors, but they do offer other cloud hosting options that you can consider.
Kinsta is certainly not the most affordable host out there but their pricing scales pretty well based on your website growth. Kinsta uses Cloudflare Enterprise as their CDN. Kinsta supports multisite very well. They are also one of the only Wordpress hosts that will configure GEO-IP rules and caching for your site, which can be great when you need to create complex and localized websites using server-side geo-location.

Siteground's plans includes introductory discounts, and renewals are quite a lot higher, please see their website for more information. Kinsta plan pricing is easy to follow and renews at the same rate.
