Test area inactive.
Instructions
- Focus the test area to begin.
- Press keys, click buttons and scroll inside the area.
- Use Tab to leave or clear the event log.
Understanding your result
A key or pointer entry means the browser delivered that event to the focused test area. Repeated key events can reflect a held key. Use the log to compare an action with its event; it cannot identify a hardware fault by itself.
What to do if you have a problem
If nothing appears, focus the test area and try again inside it. Operating-system and browser shortcuts can be intercepted before reaching the page. Tab or Escape leaves the area. Clear log between checks so a previous event does not look like the response to your latest action.
What to know before using the result
This reports browser input events, not a hardware diagnosis. Browser and operating-system shortcuts may be intercepted. Tab and Escape remain available for navigation; input outside the focused test area is not captured.
Files and text are held in this page while you work. Downloads are saved through your browser. Reloading or closing the tab clears the working page; a downloaded copy remains in your device's download location.
Summary
Compare your actions with events in the focused test area when checking keyboard and pointer input.
