Password & Passphrase Generator Online
Create a fresh secret using your browser’s cryptographic random generator.
Data is processed on your device · No data is uploaded to our servers
The local vocabulary is an original collection of common English words, licensed MIT with this tool. Separators add no randomness.
Instructions
- Choose characters or random words.
- Set the length and generate.
- Copy the result into your password manager.
Understanding your result
The entropy figure describes the selected random choices under the stated assumptions. It is not a test of a password's history or a service's acceptance rules. Generate a fresh value for your own use; any example password visible in an article is already public.
What to do if you have a problem
If generation fails, select at least one allowed character category and check length limits. If a service requires a specific character, inspect the generated value because allowed categories are not guaranteed to appear. Copy secret saves to the clipboard; use Clear secret when finished and store the value securely.
What to know before using the result
Entropy assumes independent uniform random choices and a secret result. Words come from a small, original curated vocabulary, so use more words for strong secrets. Character categories are allowed, not guaranteed. No secrets are saved or sent.
