One unencrypted PDF · 50 MB total maximum
Your files stay on this device. Processing and downloads happen in your browser.
Instructions
- Choose an unencrypted PDF.
- Set Position, Starting number and Font size (points).
- Click Save edited PDF and inspect the labels in the download.
Understanding your result
A Starting number of 10 labels the first uploaded page 10, then continues the sequence. Position controls where the labels appear; they do not change page order. Click Save edited PDF and check a page whose margins contain existing text.
What to do if you have a problem
If numbering overlaps content, choose another Position or reduce Font size. If labels do not match your intended sequence, check Starting number rather than reordering pages. Existing printed numbers remain on the page, so the new labels may appear alongside an older sequence.
What to know before using the result
Files are processed in your browser. Password-protected or malformed PDFs are unsupported. Editing can invalidate digital signatures; forms, bookmarks and document-level features may not carry over when pages are copied. Keep your original file. Large documents may exceed your browser’s memory. This tool does not redact content or compress PDFs.
Files and text are held in this page while you work. Downloads are saved through your browser. Reloading or closing the tab clears the working page; a downloaded copy remains in your device's download location.
Summary
Use the numbered PDF after confirming the sequence and that labels fit its margins.
