Understanding your result
A barcode is a visual representation of the entered identifier, not a newly assigned product number. Select a format accepted by the scanner or workflow you use. After saving SVG or PNG, scan the final displayed or printed version and compare the decoded value.
What to do if you have a problem
If an EAN or UPC value is rejected, check its required length and check digit. If a valid image scans poorly, try a larger print size with clear space around it. Recheck the selected format; visually similar barcode patterns can follow different encoding rules.

This tool does not assign retail identifiers. EAN and UPC require a valid check digit; maximum 80 characters.
