Understanding your result
Changing one line marks that line in the comparison. The tool compares text by lines, so a small edit can appear as a replaced line rather than a word-by-word markup. Review surrounding lines when deciding whether a change matters.
What to do if you have a problem
If differences appear throughout the text, inspect line breaks and whitespace in both inputs. Paste plain text rather than a document file. If the limit is exceeded, compare a smaller section with matching context on both sides and keep track of the sections you have reviewed.
What to know before using the result
Maximum 1,000 lines and 100,000 characters per input. Differences are line-based; this tool does not parse Word or PDF files.
