Image Colour Picker Online

Click an image pixel to read its exact RGBA and HEX colour. Files stay in your browser.

Data is processed on your device · No data is uploaded to our servers

Instructions

  1. Choose image and click the preview, or enter X coordinate and Y coordinate.
  2. Click Read selected pixel and review the RGBA and HEX values.
  3. Use the reported value for your selected position; check nearby pixels if needed.

Understanding your result

X 0 and Y 0 refer to the decoded image's top-left pixel. Clicking the preview selects a pixel, and Read selected pixel reports its colour. A single pixel may be a blend at an edge, so compare nearby coordinates if you want a representative solid colour.

What to do if you have a problem

If the picked colour seems wrong, check coordinates and whether the image was rotated during decoding. Click a flat area rather than an antialiased edge. Display scaling can make a preview pixel difficult to target; enter X and Y directly when you need a specific original location.

What to know before using the result

Processing happens on this device. Keep your original file. Images are limited to 20 MB and 16 million decoded pixels; animation and original image metadata are not preserved. Coordinates refer to the browser-decoded image, including any applied orientation. Colour management can affect displayed values.

Files and text are held in this page while you work. Downloads are saved through your browser. Reloading or closing the tab clears the working page; a downloaded copy remains in your device's download location.

Summary
