Add Watermark to PDF Online

Add a text watermark to every page of a PDF. Files stay in your browser.

Instructions

  1. Choose PDF and enter Watermark text.
  2. Set Position, Opacity, Text size, Text colour and Rotation; click Create output.
  3. Download the PDF and check the watermark on different pages.

Understanding your result

Watermark text is added to every page as visible content. Opacity, Position and Rotation determine its appearance, so inspect a page with dense text and a rotated page in the saved document. It does not hide the underlying content or prevent copying.

What to do if you have a problem

If saving fails with text characters, use characters supported by the standard font. If the watermark covers important content, change Position, Text size or Opacity and create another copy from the original. Open the download to check all page orientations before distributing it.

What to know before using the result

One unencrypted PDF, up to 30 MB and 500 pages. Editing invalidates digital signatures. Keep the original. A watermark is visible page content, not access control or redaction. Standard Helvetica supports Latin text only. Existing page rotation is handled, but unusual documents may display differently.

Files and text are held in this page while you work. Downloads are saved through your browser. Reloading or closing the tab clears the working page; a downloaded copy remains in your device's download location.

Summary

Use the watermarked PDF after checking text placement on different page sizes and orientations.
